Obituary

Shirlee Jean (Moore) Bistor passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family in Cambridge, Ohio on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the age of 83.
Shirlee was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Harry and Virginia Moore. She was preceded in death by an infant son Michael in 1951 and by her younger brothers Jack Moore and David Moore.
Shirlee grew up in Seville, Ohio where she met her husband Robert G. Bistor. Shirlee and Robert were married on December 31, 1949. They lived a life full of laughter and enjoyed traveling around the world.
Shirlee was employed by Welcome Wagon in her early years in Maumee, Ohio. When Shirlee and Bob settled in Cambridge in 1970, she became a respected antique dealer. She was the owner of the Mouse House Antiques on Rt. 22 in Cambridge. Shirlee also worked for Mary Kamm Tours and enjoyed traveling with family and friends as a respected and entertaining tour escort. Shirlee was a charter member of the Cambridge Lioness Club, a member of First Baptist Church since 1970 and taught Bridge in Cambridge, especially enjoying Duplicate Bridge.
Shirlee supported Bob during his 29 years as an Ohio State Trooper. Bob retired as Post Commander of the Cambridge Patrol Post.
Shirlee and Bob have four children; Robert II (Cindy) Bistor of Cambridge, Cheri (Jed) Hahn of Toledo, John (Coleen) Bistor of Columbus and Laura Nicolozakes of Cambridge. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great -grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 3:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, 120 N. 11th Street, Cambridge. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 136 E. 8th Street, Cambridge.
Following the funeral service, she will be laid to rest in the Northwood Cemetery, 1399 N. 10th St, Cambridge, Ohio. Shirlee's online tribute wall may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
