Jeanne Anne Lilienthal

Jeanne Anne Lilienthal age 82 was born to Yvonne (Escalier) and Myron Suitt on July 10, 1934 in Cambridge, Ohio and passed away in her home in Cambridge on August 14, 2016. She lived a full and active life and was loved by many and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. In her youth, Jeanne was active in sports, loved life guarding at the city pool and was proud to represent C.H.S. as head majorette her senior year of high school. After high school, she attended Muskingum College where she was a member of the FAD sorority. On February 21, 1953 Jeanne married her high school sweetheart, Bob Lilienthal, and moved to Columbus while Bob attended the Ohio State University. Jeanne was a homemaker extraordinaire; raising 5 active children, she loved cooking, sewing, tennis, golf, swimming, bridge club, and socializing in general. She was also active in the Guernsey Memorial Hospital's Auxiliary Wing 12. She was known for being a gracious hostess and took great pleasure in opening her home as a gathering place for friends and family. Jeanne was a devoted and much loved grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 7. Jeanne and Bob retired in Viera, Florida, where they enjoyed 19 wonderful years before moving back to Cambridge. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert H. Lilienthal, her brother Dr. David (Teresa) Suitt, her 5 children, Rick (Marianne) Lilienthal of Cambridge, Mary Pat Lilienthal of Barnesville, Judy Lilienthal of Kansas City, MO., Cathy Lilienthal of Packwood, WA., and Rob (Debbie) Lilienthal of Cambridge. Her grandchildren Tony (Jennie) Lilienthal, Andrew (Kirsten) Lilienthal, Gretchen Fritsch, Renate (Ellis) Thompson, Samantha (Kyle) Gagliardi, Caitlin (Sean) Anderson, and Hank (Abby) Lilienthal. Her great grandchildren Will, Hannah, Harris, Hailey, Veda, Cian, and Violet. Brother/sister-in-law Bill (Joan) Lilienthal; one niece Lisa (Jim) Sheaks and 2 nephews, Jason and Ben Suitt. Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:00 with a memorial service and a celebration of life to be held at 11:00 AM on September 10, 2016 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating.
