Stanley Nicolozakes '' A Stoic gentlemen who was firm in his convictions'' age 79 passed away suddenly October 26, 2006 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born September 14, 1927 in Fairpoint, Ohio. He was a founding partner along with his brother Bill of the Nicolozakes Trucking and Construction Co. in Cambridge, Ohio. A member of The Church of Life Giving Fountain Greek Orthodox Church in Martins Ferry, Ohio. A Korean War Veteran. Past President of The Cambridge Country Club, Past Board member of the Cambridge Country Club, foundind member of the local Ducks Unlimited, member of the Pan Cretan Assn. Wheeling W.Va., member of Twin Isles Country Club, Punta Gorda, FL, Life member of VFW Post 3760 Byesville, OH, Elks Club Cambridge, assisted with fund raisers with WIC's, member of the Polish Club Fairpoint, OH, donated to many organizations anonymously, avid card player, avid golfer, member of Guernsey Lodge #66 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Kambri Shrine Past President. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Gust G. Nicolozakes and his mother Diane Papadakis Nicolozakes. One brother George Nicolozakes. Mr. Nicolozakes is survived by is wife Frances Stathakis Nicolozakes whom he married January 16, 1955. Three sons, Bill J. Laura Nicolozakes of Cambridge, OH, Dean S. Tina Nicolozakes of Cambridge and James A. Connie Nicolozakes of Cambridge, Ohio. Seven sisters, Judy Tukesbury of Deerfield, IL, Helen Chris Vitakis of Seven Hills, OH, Goldie Gonakis of Seven Hills, OH, Sohia Brewster of Morristown, OH, Ann Michael Sapounakis of Columbus, OH, Mary Stewart of Columbus, OH and Wanda Butler of Fairpoint, OH. One brother William G. Helen Nicolozakes. Grandchildren, Deanna Nicole Nicolozakes, John Stanley Nicolozakes, Hanna Chaney, Elena, Demi, Jake & Alexa Nicolozakes, Holly & John Hubal. Friends may call Sunday October 29, 2006 from 4 to 8 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. There will be a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm and Thrice Holy Hymn Service at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Service will take place Monday Oct. 30, 2006 at 11:00 am with Father Menelaos Papageorgiou at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
