Dennis B Hinson, age 65, of Center, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 peacefully in his sleep. He was born on July 5, 1956 in Cambridge, the son of the late Aubrey Wayne Hinson and Betty June (Wayt) Hinson. He leaves: a daughter Jamie Nicole (Blake) Ruffing of Dover; a granddaughter Jaden June Ruffing and another granddaughter on the way; a sister Diane (Wayne) Barnes of Old Washington; two brothers, Dale (Carolyn) Hinson of Salem and his twin brother David Hinson of Cambridge; and several nieces, nephews, and close cousins. Dennis was a 1974 graduate of Zane Trace High School. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he was baptized. He worked in the coal mine from 1975 to 1980 and then worked and retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #495. Dennis was also the owner and operator of Hinson Jet Ski Rentals near Salt Fork since 2001. Dennis was known as the Jet Ski Man to many and enjoyed spending his summers at Salt Fork Lake on Dock E and vacationing to Put-In-Bay and the Ohio River with his boating family. To his granddaughter and grand-doggies he was known as PeePaws. He was very talented at many trades, including woodworking, mechanical work on motors, remodeling many boats and his precious family home. Dennis also enjoyed driving and working on his Corvettes. Friends and family will be received Sunday December 5th from 1 to 4pm.Funeral Services will be held at Bundy Law Funeral Home on Monday December 6th at 11am and will be officiated by Pastor Jim Lee with burial to follow at Center Cemetery.
