Marvlyn R. “Penny” Evey, 87 of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the home of her daughter Cindy. She was born on October 12, 1934 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert Spence and Eolia (Adams) Spence. Mrs. Evey had worked at NCR and March Electric and later on as a nurses aide in home health care. She had been a member of the New Testament Baptist Church in Florida. She loved to travel and listening to music. Her family was her world and they referred to her as Moochie. Marvlyn is preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband Dick Lee Powell, second husband Forrest E. Evey Sr.; two sons, Dickie Lee Powell and Thomas Allen Powell; two sisters and three brothers. She leaves: her children, Terry (Kathy) Powell of Jackson, Edie Tanner of Cambridge, Dale (Debbie) Powell of Edison, Cindy (Bob) Bistor Cambridge, Angela (Rodney) Friensehner of Akron; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to Shrivers Hospice 601 Underwood St, Zanesville, OH 43701.
