Rebecca Mae Patterson Linn

October 25, 1928 - December 29, 2019

Rebecca Mae Patterson Linn, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 91. She was born October 25, 1928 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Wilbur Patterson and Alice (McKim) Patterson. Becky was a graduate of Cambridge High School and Cambridge Beauty School. After starting her family, she was an assistant manager for Avon, a proprietor of Salt Fork Lodge Gift Shop for many years. She was also a cook at East Guernsey Schools and an active 4H leader for many years also. She was a member of the Old Washington Presbyterian Church and for many years involved with the Women's groups of the Presbyterian Church and the Center United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband William Edward "Ed" Linn in 2006, they were married on October 23, 1948; her sister Betty and brother-in-law Richard Linn; an infant son; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Louise and George Booth. Surviving are: her children, Nancy Arthur, Dave (Kathy) Linn, Jo (Rod) Baker, Sue Linn and Jan (Ron) Growe; eleven grandchildren, J.J. (Mindi) Bichard, Desni (Bob) Crock, Justin (Layne) Arthur, Jennifer (Josh) Snyder, Jason Linn, Katrina (Matt) Miller, Annie Baker, Carly Addy, Ethan Addy, Jackson Growe and Olivia Growe; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm with her service to begin at 1 pm. Pastor Wes Jones will officiate with burial to follow in Glenview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Genesis Hospice or to the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Transportation.
