Roger H Lyons

Roger H. Lyons, age 68 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Cambridge on November 30, 1952, a son of the late Harris W. Lyons and Faye Marie (Huston) Lyons. Mr. Lyons was a 1971 graduate of Madison High School. He was a machinist for March Electric for over 26 years and had been an operator for the Cambridge City Water Department for 15 years before retiring in 2019. Roger loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids, going to Cleveland Indian’s games with his son and attending grandchildren’s sporting events. He coached his kids and grandkids in baseball and softball and never met a stranger. Roger is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathleen A. (Davis) Lyons; his daughter Sarah (& Jimmy) Bolon of Belmont; his son Matthew (& Lindsay) Lyons of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Ethan Schneider, and Amelia and Vivian Lyons; step grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jaime Bolon; four brothers, Tim (& Renee) Lyons, Dan Lyons, Randy (& Pam) Lyons and Lynn (& Karly) Lyons; a sister-in-law Cynthia (& Samuel) Continenzia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm. Services will be held at Bundy-Law on Wednesday at 11 am with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will follow in Antrim Community Cemetery where Military Graveside Rites will be performed by the Guernsey County Veteran’s Council.
