William Jerome "Eli" Evans

January 19, 1952 - September 15, 2021

William J. “Eli” Evans, age 69 of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1952 in William, West Virginia, a son of the late William Evans Jr. and Ruth Ann (Gallagher) Evans. Mr. Evans served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1974. He was a mental health caretaker for Guernsey Residential and a member of the Guernsey Masonic Lodge #66 F&AM. Eli enjoyed playing and watching sports and was an avid fisherman. Eli is survived by: a brother Thomas (Cynthia) Evans of Cambridge; a sister Brenda (Ron) Rice of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother Jerry and a sister Kathy. Graveside services will be held at Guernsey Memory Gardens on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 1 pm.
