A. Lawrence "Larry" Savard, age 78 of Cambridge, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 8, 1931 in Battleford, Saskatchewan, a son of the late Henry James Savard and Mary Flavie Dumas Savard.
Mr. Savard was in the Canadian Air Force for two years and was a self employed Plumber.
Surviving are: a brother, J.Murray Shirley of Calgary; a sister, Nancy Pirtle of Edmonton, Alberta; two sister-in-laws, Anne Warbis of Columbus and Doris Marlatt of Cambridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife Marguerite C. Marlatt, whom he married on October 10, 1966; and a brother-in-law Jim Pirtle.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 to 12:00 Saturday September 26, 2009 with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with Rev. Virginia Geiger officiating.
