Alexander Louis Birch, age 39 of Columbus, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 4, 1984 in Zanesville.
Alex is preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Clara and John Birch Sr.; his father Louis S. Orme; and fraternal grandparents, Kathryn Koppal and Wilber Orme.
Left to cherish his memory are: his son Lucas LaFollette; his mother Sandy Birch (John Taylor), aunt Barbara Birch; uncles, John Birch, Roger (Mary- Ruth) Birch and Craig Birch; great uncle Glenn Worthington; Birch cousins, Sean, Judd, Levi, Josh, Amanda, and Kyle; a brother Louis Orme; uncle Wib (Kay) Orme and family, aunt Anne (Duane) Swanson and family; a special friend Stacy Barnes; and a loving supportive network of friends.
We will all miss his infectious smile and boisterous laugh. Alex was a Cambridge High School graduate class of 2002. He was an avid fisherman who couldn't resist a good fishing hole. He was currently working in the roofing industry but over the years was never shy about learning new skills in many different fields.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 11 am to 1 pm with the service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Hiramsburg Cemetery. Alex's online tribute wall may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
