Anna Marie Wood, age 92 of Byesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2024 at Cambridge Place Assisted Living in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born on October 26, 1931 in Warwick, PA., to the late George Laverne McCulley and Alice Mae (Orrs) McCulley. She is also preceded in death by her husband Oscar "Bud" William Wood who passed away on February 1, 2000 and whom she married on June 24, 1954, also by 2 brothers Russell Kenneth McCulley and George McCulley Jr., 3 sisters Thelma Guest, Laverne Latch, and Lenora Mauger, and 2 infant sisters Florence and Alice. She graduated from Warwick High School in 1949, she volunteer for the board of elections for over 30 years and was a avid reader and was Methodist by faith. Anna Marie is survived by her son Timothy (Melissa) Wood of Cambridge, a daughter Annette (Steven) Tomplait of Cambridge, and a son George (Doretta) Wood of Byesville, 6 grandchildren Matthew (Tiffany) Wood, Lori (David) Morrow, Cole (Cassie) Tomplait, Caleb (Christa) Tomplait, Casey Wood, and Caden Wood, 7 great grandchildren Gillian, Hoyt, Eliza, Titus, Steele, Liam, and Myles, and several nieces and nephews.
