Anne L. Mason, age 83 of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her home. She was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on June 23, 1940, a daughter to the late Leonard V. MacDonald and Frances C. (Finn) Gillespie.
Mrs. Mason was Catholic by faith. She was a 1957 graduate of Winchester High School in MA. She worked and retired as a teller for Guernsey Savings. She was a member of The Cambridge Amateur Radio Association with a call sign N8ANA and a member of the Cambridge Area Makers Group.
Anne was married on October 27, 1977 to her husband of almost 46 years, Larry R. Mason; also surviving are: daughter Mary-Frances Failla of Cambridge; sons, Joesph S. (Theresa) Failla of Woburn, MA, Timothy L. (Jennifer) Failla of Reading, MA; and Scott R. Mason of Ava, OH; grandchildren, Trent Mason, Rachael Clary, Elizabeth Failla, Timmy Failla, A.J. Failla, Melinda (Amanda) Johnson and Yolanda Miller; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother William L. MacDonald.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 1 pm to 4 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, the 27th at 1 pm. Rev. Jim Porter will officiate with burial to follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Genesis Hospice.
