Arthur M. "Art" Gray, age 80 of Salesville, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his home with his family and friends at side. He was born on December 14, 1941 in Baileys Mills, a son of the late Raymond A. Gray and Verna L. (Voorhees) Gray.
Mr. Gray was a 1959 graduate of Old Washington High School and a member of Middlebourne United Methodist Church. Art worked and retired from East Guernsey Schools as a supervisor. "Sonny" enjoyed farming with Eloise and Tim; enjoyed coon hunting and enjoyed his family, friends and co-workers.
He is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, Eloise (Garber) Gray, they were married on December 31, 1960; a son Tim (& Brenda) Gray of Salesville; a brother Paul Gray of Senecaville; a sister Betty (& Larry) Parry of Lore City; sister-in-law Cheryl Gray of Old Washington; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous brother & sister-in-laws; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a special friend Barb.
Art is preceded in death by: his parents; a son Brent Gray; and a brother Rex E. Gray.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 3 to 6 pm. Services will begin at noon on Wednesday also at Bundy-Law with visitation one hour prior, beginning at 11 am. Rodney King will officiate with burial to follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens.
