Arthur J. McKim Jr., age 84 of Cambridge, OH passed away Thurs., Sept. 1, 2011 at his home. He was born February 25, 1927 in Cambridge, OH, to the late Arthur John McKim Sr. and Vera Iona McKim - Davis. He was the owner of McKim Allied Vanlines Transfer and Storage in Cambridge. A member of The Beckett United Methodist Church for over 55 years. He was very active in the church serving as Sunday School Teacher, Choir Leader, Methodist Men.
Preceded in death by one sister Marjorie Hursey. One grandson Shane McCuen.
Survived by his wife Barbara Chalfant McKim whom he married January 27, 1952. Two daughters, Pam Crawford McKim of Cambridge, OH and Diana (Ronald) Monroe of Cambridge, OH. Son-in-law Leonard G. Crawford of Columbus, OH. Two brothers, George Edward (Elease) McKim of Beverly, OH and Robert (Pina) McKim of New Philadelphia, OH. Sister-in-law Mary Jane Chalfant of Cambridge. Cousins, Dorothy and Joan McKim. Six grandchildren: Leonard Crawford, Keri Stricker, Anthony Crawford, Ronald Monroe II, Amy Roth, Margaret Monroe. Five great grandchildren: Shaelyn Crawford, Brianna Stricker, Graden Roth, Bryant Roth, Austin Roth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday Sept. 5, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home Home. The Funeral Service will take place Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Mercer and John Carpenter officiating and burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
