Benita Faye DeVolld, 84, of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at home.
She was born on October 8, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Benjamin Ervin and Johnnie (Eddington) Ervin.
For many years, Benita was an LPN at Guernsey Memorial and later at the State Hospital. She attended Beckett United Methodist Church. Her greatest joy in life was being the best grandmother.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Cumpton, and two grandchildren, Ashley Danielle and Nicholas Robert Roosa.
She will be greatly missed by her three daughters; Danita (Dan) Hare of St. Louis, Missouri, Laura (Jack) Jenkins of Worthington, and Michelle DeVolld of Cambridge, two granddaughters; Victoria (Joshua) Hulse and Kelsey Ausmus, and two nephews; David and Brian Cumpton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Beckett United Methodist Church, 1401 Beckett Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio with Pastor Randy Mercer officiating.
