Bertha Grace Arnold, age 86 of New Concord, passed away on Friday, March 31,2023 at The Beckett House. She was born in Cumberland, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Hattie (Farus) Allen.
Mrs. Arnold worked as a secretary for many years with her late husband Howard Arnold in his accounting business. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church and a retired member of the Guernsey Residential Board.
Bea is survived by: her three daughters, Beth (Jody) Carter of Cambridge, Heidi (Terrence) Migliore of Dover and Heather (Ted) Bowers of Lexington Park, MD.; one sister Dorothy Yerian of Millersburg; two grandchildren, Ashleigh (Tyler Collen) Lemon of German Village and Jacob (Meagan) Bowers of Lexington Park, MD; and one great grandson Leo Bowers.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Howard Arnold on November 17, 2008; her grandson Allen Offutt on August 14, 2009; brothers, Kenneth Allen, Hugh Allen and James Allen; sisters, Veda McIntire and Gladys Stewart; and her half sisters, Mary Dallas, Helen Bates and Cora Albritian.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm. Services will be held at Center United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 1 pm with Tony Shaver officiating. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery.
