Betsy M. Cook, age 88 of Kimbolton, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born in Belpre, Ohio on October 25, 1935, a daughter of the late George W. Eddy and Jessie E. (Lanham) Eddy.
Mrs. Cook was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was a member of the Church of Christ on 10th and Clairmont for many years. Betsy was a faithful wife and loving mother who was well known for her variety store in Kimbolton, "Betsy Poo's". She and her husband met and made many friends at the Comet Tackle bait store that they ran together for over 30 years near Salt Fork Lake.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Joseph F. Cook; a son Ralph Cunningham Jr.; her siblings, Frances Riggs, Daniel W. Eddy, Lois "Fay" Haught and Dale A. Eddy.
Betsy leaves; two sons, John D. (Cindy) Cook of Norton and Joseph W. Cook of Hartville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Robert "Bob" D. Eddy, Judy L. Little and Thomas L. Eddy; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm with the service to begin at 12 pm noon. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park.
