Betty Lou "Nana" Tidwell, age 89 of Cambridge, OH passed away Thursday March 28, 2019 at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 18, 1930 in Danese, WVA., to the late Shirl Addison Lewis and Blanche Belle (Bennett) Lewis. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Betty Louise Arbogast, and 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Betty is survived by her husband Robert Ray Tidwell of Cambridge and whom she married on February 11, 1950, 2 daughters Cheryl Ann (Tony) Ciresi of Rocky River, OH., and Pamela Dean (Michael) Runyon of Cambridge, a son Robert Allen (Debbie) Tidwell of Fairview Park, OH., 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Mildred Lewis and Lucy Hanshew both of Danese, WVA., and several nieces and nephews. Betty (NaNa) was loved and cared for by many. She was one of the kindest people and left a positive impact on everyone she met. She generously opened her heart and home to family and friends and will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
