Betty Jane Ward, age 95, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Cardinal Place Assisted Living in Cambridge. She was born on August 10, 1930 in Harriman, Tennessee, a daughter of the late William Fred Webb and Laura M. (Smith) Webb.
Mrs. Ward was a homemaker and enjoyed church activities and teaching Sunday School. Betty is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband of 65 years, Richard E. "Dick" Ward, he died on August 23, 2016; her son Steven Patrick Ward, he died on July 16, 2024; and her siblings, Mildred Powers, Thelma Galyon, Mary Boles, Helen Kimes, Cecil Webb, James Webb and Robert Webb.
She leaves a son Michael Elliott Ward of New Concord and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, April 23, 2026 anytime between 10 am and 5 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11 am also at Bundy-Law, officiated by Pastor Tara Mitchell.
