Betty J. Whitsell, age 79 of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her home. She was born in Henrysburg on June 20, 1940, a daughter of the late Charles Orville Whitsell and Mildred (Hughes) Whitsell.
Mrs. Whitsell was a graduate of Old Washington High School. She was non denominational by faith and a member of the Pennyroyal Ruritan Club where she served as the reporter.
Betty is survived by: a daughter Christine J. (Richard) Molisee; two step-sons, Timothy Bruce (Sara) Huff and Robert David Huff; grandchildren, Cory F. (Melissa) Molisee, Clinton R. (Katrina) Thompson, Joshua (Savanna) Huff, Tyler (Jordan) Huff, Brianna (Robert) Everidge, Miranda Brown Huff and Meghann Huff; fourteen great grandchildren; a sister Edith (Paul) Carter; several nieces and nephews; and her furry companion Dolly.
She is preceded in death by: her parents and a brother Robert Whitsell.
Visitation will be at Bundy -Law Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 2 to 3 pm with the service at 3 pm. Pastor Karen Rawlins will officiate the service with burial to follow in Pisgah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Guernsey County Animal Shelter.
