Charles L. "Bud" Schick Jr., age 89 of Cambridge, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Cambridge Health Care Center after a brief illness. He was born on January 17, 1922 in Cambridge, son of the late Charles L. Schick Sr. and Gladys Ringer Schick.
Mr. Schick was a graduate of Brown High School in 1940 and a Member of the Unity Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.
Charles was the owner/operator of Schick's Auto Repair and Towing since 1952.
He was also preceded in death by, A sister Marybelle Slusher.
Surviving are: Wife Norma McCandless Schick, two sons, David C. (Dee) Schick Sr. of Cambridge, and Stephen W. Schick of Cambridge; a sister, Nancy Lindsay of Williamsburg, VA; three grandchildren, Julie (Greg) Sylvis, David (Terri) Schick Jr. and Frank (Rachael) Schick; five great grandchildren, Justin Schick, Charlie Schick, Anysa Schick, Joey Sylvis and Kelly Sylvis.
