Charles Rex Hale, age 69 of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at SEORMC. He was born on February 26, 1952 in Madison, West Virginia, a son of the late Hanious Hale and Goldie (Stallings) Hale.
Mr. Hale worked on oil rigs and waters wells all his life, continuing on with his fathers business.
Charles is survived by: his wife of 38 years, Cheryl J. (Wyers) Hale of the home; his children, Amanda Hale and Rex Hale; three step children, Kevin King, Howard Harper and Mindy Stewart; his twin brother Ray (Kathy) Hale; a half sister Lois Tabler; eight grandchildren, Destiny Hale, Kassi McElroy, Shelby McElroy, Elainey Hale, Christopher Hale Jr., Dana, Nevaeh, and Austin Miller, three great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Brooke Hale, his mother-in-law Joyce Wyers; a sister-in-law Carol Hickman; brother-in-laws, Jeff Wyers, Mike Wyers and Terry Wyers; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; a son Christopher Hale; a grandson Troy McElroy; father-in-law Raymond Wyers; and two brother-in-laws, Mark and Dennis Wyers.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 11 am to 12 pm with the service beginning at 12 pm. Pastor Dave Glass will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Charles' online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
