Charles E. Pressdee Jr. age 80 of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at his home. He was born in Canton, Ohio on November 9, 1943, a son of the late Charles E. "Chick" Pressdee Sr. and Helen Eileen (Stanley) Pressdee.
Mr. Pressdee was a graduate of John Glenn High School. He was an Iron Worker for the Local 172. Charlie was a life member of the Cambridge Eagles. He enjoyed watching westerns, camping, attending the fairs and watching the truck and tractor pulls, spending time outdoors and attending all the grandchildren's events.
Charlie loved two women in his life. His late first wife Patsy Pressdee and Brenda (Todd) Shingary Pressdee whom he married in 2003; also surviving are his children, Steve (& Diane) Pressdee, Patty (& Brad) Toland, four step children, Lorrie Shingary, Shawn (& John) Marlatt, Johnny Shingary II, Heather (& Mike) Byard; a sister Edna Lee; his grandchildren, Blake & Layne Pressdee, Jarod Byard, Caitlyn (& Leea) Byard, Allysa Marlatt, Cody, Tyler & Falon Watterson; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son Tom.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm with services to begin at 1 pm. Rev. Mark Slay will officiate with burial to follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to a cancer association or a local Hospice organization.
