Charles Raymond Smith, age 67 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born on August 5, 1957 in Monroe, North Carolina, a son of the late Harold Ainsworth Smith and Agnes (Considine) Smith.
Charlie was a graduate of Muskingum Area Joint Vocational School in Zanesville. He dedicated over 35 years to Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, specializing in medical equipment repair. From a young age, Charlie displayed a talent for music and shared his gift with everyone around him. Being a self-taught musician, Charlie was lead guitarist for various bands including the local group Lock -N-Load. He had a passion for motorcycles, traveling, and outdoor adventuring. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family."
Charlie is survived by: his children, Christopher (& Meghan) Smith of Livonia, MI; Shawna (& Jason) King of Roseville, OH and Matthew (& Jessica) Smith of Cambridge, OH; siblings, Faith (& Michael) Jones of Simpsonville, S.C., Cynthia (& Lloyd) Clifton of Fayetteville, N.C., Christopher Smith of Whittier, N.C., Sheila (& Nicholas) Graziano of Port Republic, MD.; grandchildren, Ian, Breonna, Makayla, Sawyer, Lydia, Isabella, Emma, Conner and Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter Misty Carlson; a brother Harold E. Smith.
Memorial visitation will take place from 11 am to 12 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2025. A service will begin at 12 noon officiated by Father Nicholas Ginnetti. Charlie's online guest book may be viewed and signed at
