Clesta "Joyce" B. Bradam, 79 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Cardinal House. She was born on August 8, 1933 in Stickleyville, VA, a daughter of the late Dewey David Bledsoe and Lillie Mae Joyner Bledsoe.
Mrs. Bradam was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a part of the Trinity Treasures. She was a homemaker who volunteered at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center and had worked at N.C.R. She and her husband loved camping and were members of the Happy Wanderers Camping Club. She had been to all 50 states except Hawaii. They were very involved with the local P.T.A. when their daughters were in school and she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a devoted caregiver to numerous family members in their later years. Her family was her treasure.
Joyce was preceded in death by: her parents; husband William Robert "Bob" Bradam in 1999; and her sister Nadine Pierson.
She leaves two daughters, Susan (Stephen) Dalrymple of Oregon and Kathy (David) Burton of Georgia; six grandchildren, Evan Dalrymple of Oregon, Katie (Josh) Hoskins of China, Willa (Hunter) Witcraft of Oregon, Heather (Joel) Owen of Arkansas, John (Megan) Burton of Georgia and Michelle (Seth) Morgan of South Carolina; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The service will be on Saturday, June 8th at 11am with Pastor Mark Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery. The online tribute wall may be viewed and signed at
