Cynthia A. (Wright) McCormick, age 57 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 2, 1960 in Youngstown, a daughter of Mary Ellen (Barvitski) Wright of Cambridge and the late James R. Wright.
Cindy was a 1979 graduate of Cambridge High School and received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from Kent State University. She enjoyed watching her grandsons play sports and spending time with them. She was a wonderful caregiver to her parents for many years and was known to her friends as "Dot".
She is survived by: a son Robert Rivers of Cambridge; a daughter Brittany Rivers of Waterloo, Iowa; two grandsons, Ben and Zac Rivers and their mother Tacy Bates; two sisters, Maribeth Wright of Cambridge and Barbara (Larry) Paden of Lore City; and a brother Ed ( Brenda) Wright of Cambridge.
Memorial visitation will be at Christ Our Light Parish on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am with Mass at 11 am. Rev. Father Paul Hrezo will officiate the service.
