Daniel D. McElwain, age 65 of Antrim, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his home. He was born in Circleville, Ohio on November 2, 1956, a son of the late Arno D. McElwain and Edna Josephine (Norris) McElwain.
Mr. McElwain was a graduate of Madison High School. He served his country in the U.S.Navy in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He was a self employed truck driver and loved trains.
He leaves his wife of almost 45 years, Ruth A. (Miller) McElwain; children, Justin (& Ashlee) McElwain of Kimbolton, Melissa (& Rob) Radcliff of Gnadenhutten, Jacob (& Brandi Williamson) McElwain of Port Washington; grandchildren, Gabryella (& Sam), Gwenyvere, Gracyn, Gatlyn, Xander, Xhaiden, Xavier, Xaine, Emma, Izzy, Liam and Grace; siblings, Judy, Jerry and Brian (& Gail) and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many of his truck driving friends.
Dan is preceded in death by: his parents and a sister Sharon.
Memorial visitation will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm with a memorial service to begin at 3 pm. Ron Miller will officiate.
