Danny "Duke" Lee Gatrell, age 66 of Lore City passed away September 7, 2020 at Alter Care in Cambridge. He was born on January 24, 1954 in Cambridge to the late Samuel Clay Gatrell and Doris (Kennedy) Fisher. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers Thomas and Edison Gatrell. He was a retired excavator and member of the PKC & UKC coon hunting associations. Duke is survived by 4 daughters Stephanie (Eric) Edwards of Zanesville, Holly (Kevin) Gadd of Cumberland, Tammy (Dave) Hanes of Cambridge, and Melissa (Dave) Richmond of New Philadelphia, 2 sons Danny Gatrell and fiancee April Conner and Shawn (Kelly) Warford both of Cambridge, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, 6 brothers Alan "Jess" (Kimberly) Gatrell of N.C., Terry Gatrell of Quaker City, David "Butch" (Debi) Gatrell of Cambridge, Jim Gatrell of Indiana, Bob Gatrell of Missouri, and Jerry " Dick" Gatrell of Cambridge, Half brother Jeff (Annette) Fisher of Granville, 2 half sisters Wendy Hall and Sherry (Tom) Feldner both of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 on Thursday September 10, 2020 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with services to follow at 7:00, with burial in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at a later date.
