David J. Bock, age 82 of Cambridge, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital Hospital in Columbus. He was born on September 22, 1925 in Erie, PA., son of the late Mahlon Bock and Margaret Herman Bock.
Mr. Bock was a Metallurgical Engineer for the former Foote Mineral Corporation. He served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He was a member of: the St. Benedict's Catholic Church; the Cambridge Country Club; the D.A.V.; and sang in the St. Benedict's Choir.
David was preceeded in death by: his wife, Ruth Joan Bensinger Bock in 2007, they were married on July 15, 1950; 2 sisters, Ruth Purcell and Mary Jane McKeand.
He is survived by: 3 sons, James Janine Bock of Cambridge, OH., Raymond Judy Bock of Columbus, OH., and Stephen Lisa Bock of North Lewisburg, OH.; 1 daughter, Nancy Ryan Harvey of Cambridge, OH.; 2 brothers, Richard Bock of CA., and Donald Bock of Erie, PA.; 5 grandchildren, Christopher and Lee Ann McCabe, Becky Harlor, Jenny Evanichko, Rachel and Andy Bock, and Ricky and Timmy Harvey; 2 great grandchildren, Riley and Emma Evanichko.
