David P. McCauley, age 57 of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born in Cambridge on April 15, 1965, a son of the late Earl D. McCauley and Esther E. (Becker) McCauley. Mr. McCauley was a 1983 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church. Dave worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation as a Highway Technician for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Brown's Backers and the Cambridge Elks. He was an avid fan of all the Cleveland sports teams and enjoyed coaching his kids through little league. Dave was well known in the community and loved spending time with his kids and close friends.
Dave is preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother Donald McCauley.
Surviving are: two sons, Drew (Cammy) McCauley and Clay (Kaylee Callihan) McCauley; a daughter Chloe McCauley; a granddaughter Wrenley McCauley; a brother Tom (Susan) McCauley; the mother of his children Leslie McCauley; his father-in-law Ron Lemmon; and dear friend Ronnie Fitch.
Memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday April 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a celebration of life service to begin at 7 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Pastor Georgette Gaston will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Faith United Methodist Church 500 South 7th Street Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
