Debi J. Burnette
May 28, 1962 – May 7, 2024


Debi J. Burnette went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born to Larry and Carole Paisley on May 28th, 1962 in Cambridge, Ohio. Debi, a devoted wife, mother, sister, proud new grandma, and nurse of over forty years dedicated her life to helping and healing others. She touched thousands of lives throughout her journey, serving others before herself. Debi enjoyed crafting, canning (the best salsa, black raspberry jelly, and spaghetti sauce), being outdoors, being a sports wife and mother, traveling to new destinations, and spending time with her fur babies. She was a devout follower of Christ, serving him through many mission trips as a nurse to Mexico, and was never afraid to share what she believed. Debi is survived by her husband (Jim Burnette of New Concord) her parents (Larry and Carole Paisley of Cambridge), her two sons, Trevor Burnette (Genna) of the Crane, Travis Burnette (Morgan) and granddaughter (Kinsley Raye) of Colorado, her step-daughter Debi L. Johnson (Greg) and grandchildren Madison and Riley of Thornville, her brother Mark Paisley of Cambridge, and her sister, Melissa Vanyek (Jeff) of Phoenix, Arizona. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at the First Church of the Nazarene, 533 Jefferson Ave., Cambridge, OH on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 6:30 P.M.
