Della Mae Cooper McCary Spears, age 67 of Senecaville, Ohio, died Monday, August 27, 2007 at South Eastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 4, 1940 in Odd, W.VA., daughter of the late Harry Oliver Cooper and Ella Shrewsbury Cooper.
Mrs. Spears was a homemaker and member of Faith Assembly Gospel Church. She enjoyed camping and was a member of the Open Road Camping Club.
Della was married on October 20, 1979 to her husband Ralph Spears of the home, they have been married for 28 years.
She leaves: 1 daughter, Ella Annette Alan Cutlip of Senecaville, OH.; 1 step-daughter, Kathy Spears of Randolph, OH.; 6 sisters, Faye William Jordan of Memphis, TN., Irene Bernstein of Essex, MD., Deloris Fred Linder of Avon, IN., Shelby Walter Setliff of Cool Ridge, W.VA., Sylvia Fred Basham of Cool Ridge, W.VA., Debra Van Carr of Cool Ridge, W.VA.; 4 brothers, Lawrence Iris Cooper of Beckley, W.VA., Arlis Anna Lee Cooper of Barberton, OH., Lonnie Cooper of Athens, OH., Freddie Reva Cooper of Cool Ridge, W.VA.; 1 granddaughter, Jennifer McAllister, 80 nieces and nephews and a very special sister-in-law, Jonell Cooper of Byesville, OH..
Preceeding her in death are: 1 son, Eddie McCary; 2 granddaughters, Jacquline Cutlip and Kiah Exline; 2 brothers, Shirley and Billy Cooper.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 from 4 to 8pm with the service on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 1:30pm. At Bundy-Law Funeral Home 120 N. 11th St. Cambridge, Ohio 43725. Rev. Carl Chrisman will officiate the service with burial following in Northwood Cemetery.
