Diane P. Carkin, age 74 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away on July 30, 2023 at the Beckett House in New Concord, Ohio. She was born on September 22, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Joseph Sr. and Patricia (Smyth) Gilfillan. She is also preceded in death by her husband Wesley Carkin who passed away on November 8, 2008, 2 brothers David and Thomas Gilfillan, and a sister Stella Samons. She retired from the Cambridge Developmental Center as a residential care supervisor, she was Catholic by faith and was a volunteer for the Casa Program. Diane is survived by her daughter Laurie A. Frattali Waggoner (Doug Larrick) of Kimbolton, a son Jason Frattali of Senecaville, 4 grandchildren Holly (Taylor) Leppla, Dallas (Samantha) Waggoner, Ashley and Annistyn Frattali, 4 great-grandchildren Landon, Bryson, and Tayson Leppla and Indy Alkire, 2 sisters Mary Worthington and Elizabeth Gilfillan, 3 brothers Joseph, Michael and Patrick Gilfillan. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 on Thursday August 3, 2023 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 with Randolph White officiating.
