Donald C. Campbell, age 81, of Byesville, Ohio died Tuesday morning January 27, 2004 at Red Carpet Health Care Center in Cambridge. He was born October 19, 1922 in Cambridge the son of the late Roy Scott and Lola Geary Campbell. He was Protestant by faith, a Retired ODOT employee, Stockroom Clerk and Maintenence Record Keeper. He was a member of the Cambridge Eagles Club and was Secretary/ Treasurer of the Bowling League for several Years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha C. Schaar Campbell in 1984, 4 Daughters: Carolyn Sue Hackney of Cambridge, Monna Kay Campbell of Byesville, Elizabeth Jane Hicks of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sherri Jean Campbell of Byesville. 2 Sons: Donald Charles Campbell of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and John David Campbell of Byesville. 1 Sister Edna Atchison of Cambridge. 2 Brothers: John Campbell of Napa, California and Ralph W. Campbell of Cambridge. 13 Grandchildren, 6 Step Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and 5 Step Great Grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Monday February 2, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Slay officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery.
