Donald G. McIntyre Sr., age 93 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away November 19, 2021 at Hospice of Central Ohio in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on October 4, 1928 in Alvy, West Virginia to the late Step-father Clifford Roy and Ida A. (Seese) Roy. He was a Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, he owned and operated a Gulf Service Station, was a educator who taught for 7 years, worked at the Bureau of Vocation Rehabilitation in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a member of the DAV, VFW Post 2901 Lifetime member and member of Trinity Baptist Church. Donald is survived by his wife Connie M. (Griffin) McIntyre of Cambridge and whom he married on July 1, 1953, a daughter Crissy (Butch) Smith of Old Washington, 3 sons Donald ( Marcy) McIntyre Jr. of Cumberland, Mark (Cathy) McIntyre of Reynoldsburg, and Mike McIntyre of Cambridge, 12 grandchildren Tommy, Heather, Tori, Dawn, Amy, Amanda, Crysta, Chaz, Ryan, Catie, Abby, and Mahley, 12 great grandchildren, and a Step-sister Nancy (Clyde Dale) Pennington of Akron. No calling hours or funeral services will be held at this time. Burial will take place in Northwood Cemetery and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
