Donald James Snowberger Sr, age 83 of Kimbolton, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 20, 1940 in Akron, a son of the late Emert Snowberger and Eleanor (Shade) Snowberger.
Mr. Snowberger had worked as a self employed carpenter all his life. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #631, the Wildfire Golf League and a very active member and a trustee for Kimbolton Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and just being outdoors.
Surviving are: his wife of 32 years, Vada M. (Scott) Snowberger; daughters, Dianna (& Bill) Purk of Kimbolton, Denna (& Paul) Siciliano of Rootstown, Donna Kay (& John) Memmer of Tallmadge and Donnita (& Russell) Galland of Cuyahoga Falls; son Donald Jr (& friend (Jami Kapper) Snowberger of Mogadore; two stepsons, David Swiger of Cuyahoga Falls and Jeff (& Carrie) Swiger of Akron; a sister Bert (& Joe) Neveadomi of Munroe Falls; a brother Dale (& Janet) Snowberger of El Segundo, CA; a special nephew David Lee Sylvester; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers Ron and Ken Snowberger and two grandchildren.
A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Kimbolton Methodist Church at 10 am. Pastor Phil Murphy will officiate.
