Donna G. (Harper) Chester, age 69 of Old Washington, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Countryview Assisted Living Center. She was born on August 31, 1952 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late John R. Harper and Dorothy L. (Pickenpaugh) Harper.
Mrs. Chester was a graduate of Zanes Trace High School and a member of the Old Washington United Methodist Church. She had worked at Detroit Diesel, and the Shenandoah Inn. She enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, and traveling on cruises.
Donna is preceded in death by: her husband Ronald D. Chester on April 24, 2001.
Surviving are: two sons, Bradley D. (& Patricia) Chester of Old Washington and Jeremy D. Chester of Columbus; two grandchildren, Elliot Dean and Adelyn E. Chester; a brother Brian (& Pam) Harper of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews; step grandchildren, Shawn (& Kara) Markel and Lisa (& Shawn) Ruggles; step great grandchildren, Ethan, Riley, Brandon, Matthew, Sydney and Sophia; and a step great great grandson Bentley.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm with the service to begin at 1 pm. Pastor Karen Rawlins will officiate with burial to follow in Old Washington Cemetery.
