Dorothy L. Burris, age 90 of Cambridge, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born on April 26, 1919 in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles W. Feaster and Blanche Whittmer Feaster.
Dorothy was a homemaker and attended the Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to country music at Kimbolton Fire Department. Also enjoyed rides through Salt Fork State Park with her husband Leo.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Leo M. Burris in 2005, they were married on December 24, 1937; also deceased: two infant daughters; a sister, Ella Mae Schick; and a brother, Charles W. Feaster Jr.
Surviving are: three sons, Jerry Lee Rose Burris of New Concord, Larry G. Mary Burris of Cambridge and James B. Deborah Burris of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, Jeff, Noreen, Brian, Teresa, Sherry, Travis and Sarah; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with the service at 11:00 am on Friday, December 11, 2009. Rev.
