Earnest Mullins, age 37 of Cambridge, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1972 in Elyria, Ohio and was a member of the Faith Community Free Methodist Church in Cambridge.
Earnest loved his family. He enjoyed singing and cooking on the grill for family and friends. He was known for telling some pretty good stories.
He leaves: his wife, Betty J. Gill Mullins whom he married on September 14, 1996; a son, Paul "Mikey" Mullins; his parents, Michael and Darlene Fincannon Mullins of Vermillion, Ohio; a sister, Annette Mullins of Taylorsville, KY.; maternal grandmother, Colleen Fincannon of Akron; paternal grandmother, Onie Varney of Port Charolette, FL.; his mother and father-in-law, Betty & Gene Gill of Cambridge; and niece and nephew Korey and Allison Hartman.
Earnest was preceded in death by: a son, Michael Mullins; and two grandfathers, Earnest Mullins and Ralph Fincannon.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 24, 2009 from 3 to 7pm with the service at 7pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Pastor Nate Gibbons and Rev. Gene Gill will officiate the service. Visitation and service will also take place in Lucas & Sons Funeral Home in Pikeville, KY. on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 10am till 12pm with a service at 12pm.
