Edward F. Bell, 89, of Estero, Florida, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014. Formerly of Cambridge, Ohio, he had been an Estero resident at Country Creek since 2008.
He was born December 28, 1924 in Cambridge, the son Della (née Hayes) and Edward F. Bell Sr. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Ed was a successful banker, a loving husband, and a great father. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ethelyn L. (née West) Bell; his beloved daughter, Nancy K. (John) Zook of Cumberland Foreside, ME; cherished grandchildren, Mary (Luke) Legere of Wayland, MA and Elizabeth (Keith) Cameron of Cape Elizabeth, ME; and great grandchildren, Henry and Reed Legere and Maeve and Callen Cameron.
Services will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Pkwy., Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
