Edwin Weaver, 84 of Quaker City, OH died peacefully on May 11, 2023 at his home. He was born Dec. 25, 1938 to the late Irvin and Mary Weaver. On May 19, 1962 he married Martha Wittmer, his beloved wife of almost 61 years, who survives.
Also surviving are: his 10 sons, Nathan and Shelby, Lonnie and Evie, Jason and Juanita, James and Amanda, Airell and Bev, Michael and Alta, Andre and Karissa, Robbie, Hans and Rochelle, Anthony and special friend Jodie; 41 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; one sister Katie Ann Miller and one sister-in-law Dorothy Weaver; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; five brothers; two sisters; three brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.
Dad was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is our hero - one who cared well for his family. We will miss him so!
Dad was a very energetic and passionate leader, pastor, carpenter, farmer and whatever he was involved in. His love and care for people was evident to all.
Visitation will be at Antrim Mennonite Church on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday also at the church with Jason L. Miller officiating. Edwin's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
