Eleanor "Janie" Blackstone, age 84 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Astoria Place. She was born near Salesville, Ohio on July 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Paul E. Watson and Elizabeth M. (Millhone) Watson.
Eleanor was a 1952 graduate of Old Washington High School. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and had worked for Olnhausen and Green Optometrist for over 42 years. She enjoyed bowling and traveling. Playing bingo and cards were also a common hobby of hers.
She is survived by: four sisters, Lois Mae (Paul D.) Dearth of Zanesville, Ruth Ann (Jim) Hoops of Pleasant City, Beverly (James) Murphy of Pleasant City and Barbara S. (Duane) Meek of Scottsdale, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
Eleanor is preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother Howard "Buzzy" Watson.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 12 pm to 2 pm with the service at 2 pm. Rev.
