Obituary

Emilie E. Riley, age 84 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday August 17, 2020 at her home. She was born on October 1, 1935 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Harold Wagstaff and Vivian (Schwartz) Wagstaff.
Mrs. Riley was a 1953 graduate of Cambridge High School. She worked at Cambridge State Mental Health Facility for 25 years, retiring as a ward supervisor in 1990. Emilie has been a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1964. She was a very talented woman. She had amazing crocheting skills and a hand for painting.
Preceding in death is her husband Dale A. Riley who passed away on March 20, 2014, they were married August 8, 1953. Also deceased are two grand children, Jesse and Cassandra. One brother Richard Wagstaff. Her beloved dog Charlie.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia K. Brenning and Connie S. (William) Rummell, both of Cambridge. Three sons: Kim A. (Chris) Riley of Watkinsville, GA, Kevin D. (Teresa) Riley of Norwich, Larry D, (Teresa) Riley of Danielsville, GA. Eleven grandchildren: Douglas, Angela, Zachary, Matthew, Adam, Amanda, Alyssa, Valerie, Aaron, Sheena, Timothy. Twenty-two great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren. One brother, Edwin (Linda) Wagstaff of Cambridge. Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday. Services will be held at 11 am Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, 1360 Highland Ave., Cambridge, OH 43725, with Pastor Mark Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
