Erman E. DeBos, age 92, formerly of Kimbolton now of Brewster, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Truman House in New Philadelphia. He was born on October 21, 1930 in Massillon, a son of the late Charles DeBos and Mildred "Kay" (Friend) Harneck.
Mr. DeBos worked and retired as an operator for Crown Cork and Seal. He enjoyed spending time at the campground.
Erman is preceded in death by: his parents; his wife Mary Catherine (O'Connor) DeBos, whom he married on August 5, 1950; and his oldest son Charles E. DeBos.
Surviving are: his children, Kathryn Trubey of Brewster, Theresa (Scott) Caldwell of Massillon and Bruce (Kathy) DeBos of Lebanon ; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; and a brother Charles (Rebecca) DeBose.
A memorial service will be held at the Dogwood Acres Campgrounds, 1:00 pm Saturday August 5, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Down Syndrome Association, 2211 Lesnett Rd., Unit 12864, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15241.
