Forrest E. Evey Sr., age 91 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his home. He was born in Michigan on November 27, 1928, a son of the late Walker Evey and Lucille (Lovelace) Evey.
Mr. Evey served his country as a sailor in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church in Florida.
Forrest leaves his wife, Marvlyn (Spence) Evey; children, John (Rita) Evey of FL, Forrest "Gene" (Tish) Evey Jr. of Alabama, Joel (Amy) Evey of FL, Janice (Jon) Myers of FL, Jennifer (Dawayne) Stephens of Wooster; step children, Terry (Kathy) Powell of Galion, Edie (Darrell) Tanner of Cambridge, Dale (Debbie) Powell of Edison, Cindy (Bob) Bistor Cambridge and Angela (Rodney) Friensehner of Ohio; a sister Audrey C. Evey; a brother Paul (Dorris) Evey of San Antonio, TX; several grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Forrest is preceded in death by: his parents; a son Jay Evey; two step sons, Dickie Lee Powell and Thomas Allen Powell; and two brothers Walker "Buddy" Evey and Donald Evey.
