Frank W. Carpenter, age 79 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born February 5, 1927 in Cambridge, Ohio. Frank was retired from CSX after 37 years. A WWII Army Veteran, a member of Central Christan Church, graduated from Brown High in 1945, member of Masonic Lodge #30 F & AM, Scottish Rites Valley of Columbus, Avid Sports Fan.
Mr. Carpenter is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Carpenter and Eva Jirles Carpenter. One brother, Paul Carpenter.
Frank is survived by his wife Betty L. Carpenter whom he married 5-23-1998. Two step-daughters, Tracey Charlie Patterson of Kimbolton, Ohio and Heather Joey Patterson of Nashport, Ohio. One step-son, David Paula Deal of Byesville, Ohio. One sister, Annabelle Robinson of Cambridge, Ohio. One brother, Jack Isolde Carpenter of London, Ohio. Sister-in-law, Jo Carpenter of Columbus, Ohio. Special brother-in-law John Robinson of Cambridge, Ohio and Special cousin Bonnie Jirles of Cambridge, Ohio. Step grandchildren, Jenny & Dakota Patterson, Zachary, Hope & Charlie Deal and Jacob Patterson.
Friends may call Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 2to4 and 7 to 9. There will be a Masonic Service at 3:45 pm at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am Friday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Oscar brown and burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
