Frankie "Frank" Rominger, age 65 of Kimbolton, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at his home. He was born on February 10, 1955 in Boone, North Carolina, a son of the late Donley Rominger and Charlotte (Stout) Rominger.
Frank retired from Walmart. He was known as the "Preacher man", he loved spending time with his family, fishing, going to auctions, gardening and playing horseshoes. He was a songwriter who enjoyed listening to music, and sharing the word of the Bible with everyone.
He is survived by: his wife Iona "Woman" (Touvell) Rominger, whom he married on June 18, 1988; a son Eddie (Jenny) Rominger of Cambridge; daughter Misha (Kiley) Fox of Byesville; grandchildren, Janelle Rominger, Kameron Fox, Paisley Fox and Noah Fox; sisters Wanda (Bill) Harmon of Icard, North Carolina; Annie Hayes of Hickory, North Carolina, Katie (Donnie) Villers of Antrim; a brother John (Kristi) Rominger of Cambridge; brother-in-laws, James (Lisa) Touvell of Byesville, Joshua Touvell of Zanesville, Joe Touvell of Lancaster; sister-in-law Shirley Milligan of Byesville, Alicia Huntsman of Byesville; long time friend Gary Hayes of Antrim; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Toby.
Frank is preceded in death by: his parents; brother Fred Rominger; brother in law Lewis Hayes; mother and father in law Shirley and Jr. Touvell, brother-in-laws Terry and Moe Touvell, John Touvell and sister-in-laws Julia Schoeppner, Sue Norman and Michelle Touvell.
