Gary E. "Butch" Hayes, age 71 of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at SEORMC. He was born in Cambridge, on August 4, 1947, a son of the late Arthur Hayes and Martha (Spencer) DeVore.
Gary is preceded in death by: his parents and his wife Norma (Miller) Hayes.
He is survived by: a daughter Kristy (James) Rice of Pleasant City; a son Gary "Eddie" (Dawn) Hayes of Illinois; three brothers, Steve Hayes of GA, Roy DeVore of Byesville and Joe DeVore of Cambridge; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was an avid outdoors-man and loved hunting and fishing.
