George Elmer Vansickle, age 86 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Altercare of Cambridge. He was born on September 8, 1935 in Clay Township, Gallia County, Ohio, a son of the late Elmer Samual Vansickle and Ola Helen (James) Vansickle.
Mr. Vansickle served his country in the U.S.Army. He had worked for Randall Plastics and for the Berwick Apartments. George was protestant by faith and a member of the Guernsey County Senior Center where he volunteered and received some awards.
George is preceded in death by: his parents, a son Daniel Vansickle in 2005; a grandson Justin J. Vansickle; a brother Walter and a sister Wanda.
Surviving are: two brothers, Donald E. Vansickle of Ocala, Florida and Sidney Vansickle of California; grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel Jr., Nicole, Jessica, Eric and Vickie; and a caring-close personal family / friend Nanette Vansickle.
Graveside services will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11am.
