Gerald Edward Selby, 83, formerly of Elm Street in Cambridge, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 8:10 am, in Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. Born on 10 - 19 - 1918 to the late Charles Edward Selby and Della Tullis Selby. He was a machine oporator for Plastics Industry, Methodist by Faith, and Served in the Navy in World War II. Gerald was married on December 29, 1939 to Dorothy Jean Selby, who died on June 30, 2001.
Gerald has 2 sons; Bill and Paula Selby of Newark, Ohio, and David and Kathryn Selby of Columbus, Ohio, 1 sister; Roberta Ford of Canton,Ohio, and 1 brother; Walter Selby of Denver, Colarado, 2 grandghildren; Crystal Stamper of Newark, Ohio, and Lisa Tutarow of Sunbury, Ohio. He also has 1 deceased sister; Shirley Rochester.
Visitation will be held at Bundy - Law Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23, 2002 from 6 to 9pm. The service will be at the graveside at Guernsey Memory Gardens Friday, May 24, 2002, at 1:30pm. Military services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
